Team Leader Support Coordination & Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
Ashleigh is a highly experienced disability services leader with a strong background across Specialist Support Coordination, Support Coordination, team leadership, community development and public health. She is recognised for her ability to navigate complex situations with confidence and clarity, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, collaboration and meaningful participant outcomes.
As Team Leader for Victoria, Ashleigh leads a team of Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring, practice guidance and support while maintaining her own caseload. She brings substantial leadership experience to the role, having previously led a Support Coordination team for more than three years, with responsibility for staff supervision, performance, best-practice standards and team development.
Ashleigh has extensive experience supporting people with complex and high support needs, including psychosocial disability, significant mental health challenges, complex housing and Home and Living arrangements, and transitions from hospital and psychiatric settings. She is highly skilled in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working alongside participants, families, health services, behaviour support practitioners, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to establish safe, effective and sustainable support arrangements.
Her experience also includes navigating complex health, legal and statutory processes, including VCAT proceedings, Community Treatment Order hearings, psychiatric assessments and reviews, hospital discharge planning, NDIS plan reviews and Home and Living applications. Ashleigh brings a calm, practical and solutions-focused approach to complex situations and is skilled at bringing different services and stakeholders together around the needs and goals of the participant.
Ashleigh also brings a strong background in community development, capacity building and stakeholder engagement, having worked closely with communities and mainstream services to improve inclusion and accessibility for people with disability. She holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Health Science, giving her a broad understanding of the intersection between disability, health, mental health and community participation.
Known for her thoughtful, collaborative and capable approach, Ashleigh is passionate about supporting team members to build confidence and capability in their practice while ensuring participants receive high-quality, coordinated and genuinely person-centred support.
