In these self-rostered positions, you manage your own roster, decide when to roster yourself to work directly for and with participants, and maintain the ability to work flexibly with participants around choices for their support. Your caseload will determine the number of hours you deliver, and you can choose your optimal workload. This is a work from home position, with outreach to see participants face to face, as required.

Independent Support Coordinator

As an Independent NDIS Support Coordinator with Wellspace, you will play an integral role in supporting the NDIS participants and their families navigate, activate, interpret and implement their NDIS Plans. Our Independent Support Coordinators are passionate, experienced and are committed to providing a person-centred and strengths-based approach. We believe that when you focus on someone’s strengths, they have the ability to flourish and improve their overall wellbeing. 

 

 

Independent specialist Support Coordinator

 Use your skills and expertise to provide a high standard of initial contact services, consultation, and advice to those with complex disabilities whilst navigating and negotiating complex support plans for participants to overcome barriers in care of everyday life. Our Specialist Support Coordinators strive on Identifying opportunities for innovative service delivery that empowers participants to exercise choice and control in accessing a range of supports and services.

Independent Psychosocial recovery coach

Our Independent Psychosocial Recovery Coaches provide support coaching to NDIS participants with a psychosocial disability to increase independence, social participation and economic participation. With your specialist knowledge gained through personal lived or learned experiences, your coaching will help increase recovery skills and personal capacity, including motivation, strengths, resilience and decision-making of our participants ensuring each participant is exercising greater choice and control. 

Essential Criteria

  • Your own ABN and Insurances (or willing to obtain)

  • Support Coordinator: Minimum 6 months experience working with people with disabilities in a Support Coordination, Local area Coordination or NDIS planning role.

  • Specialist Support Coordinator:  Bachelor degree in a health related discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or other Allied Health)

  • Psychosocial Recovery Coach: Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent training; or a minimum of two years’ lived or learned experience in mental health related work

  • Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS (or working toward) including interpreting and implementing all aspects of NDIS plans

  • Valid Driver’s licence and comprehensively insured motor vehicle

  • Hold a current Working with Children Check for paid employment

  • Clear National Criminal History Check

  • NDIS worker screening check

Wellspace Australia is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Service Manager who has extensive experience with the NDIS and leading their team to best support people living with a disability and/or complex mental health to achieve their goals.

As a Service Manager, you will lead your team of Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordinators and/or Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to provide the best supports and empower each of our participants to live a fulfilling life.

Our team members are passionate, experienced and are committed to providing a person-centred and strengths-based approach. We believe that the right candidate will focus on their strengths and support our team to flourish. The selected successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the sector and navigating the NDIS to support our clients to reach their full potential.

Additional Criteria :
